Energy Storage is a critical but overlooked issue. The Electrical Grid as it exists now is unable to withstand the amount of renewable energy produced today. There are several solutions: enhancing grid connectivity, integrating household smart metres and batteries, and grid-level storage, all of which should be used to strengthen the current grid. How would these solutions fit within our landscape? In depth examination of Grid Level Storage provides opportunities to create legislation that could enhance the landscapes these new projects are implemented in. They will become a common site in the near future, how they benefit these spaces is open to a wide range of new landscape solutions.
