The bench project, designed to improve the campus environment. Designing a bench that seamlessly integrates the existing trees and facilitates better movement and engagement among students. It's an ideal place to unwind, study, or socialize with friends while appreciating the natural beauty around you. Starting with a malformed space and enhancing with design, this new seating area outside of Blue Bird Cafe on UCD campus creates a more seamless space for the comings and goings of daily student life. Attention is focused on the improvement of campus flow and integrating the variety of architecture exhibited. This project is a course in learning what designers need to portray for engineers to create their designs with heavy focus on the construction process and requirements.
